Matthew James Morrison is a London-based actor and internationally published model from Nottinghamshire, represented by Samantha How at Simon & How Associates, and Voicebank London for voice-over work.

His acting career began at a young age, performing in the church, school productions, and as part of the Nottingham Playhouse Youth Theatre, before venturing out to professional standard platforms such as the National Youth Theatre (NYT) and the National Youth Film Academy (NYFA).

Matthew trained with the NYT in and took on a featured role in their production of Slick. Subsequently, he was cast as an actor/singer in the London Olympic and Paralympic Team Welcoming Ceremonies. He also trained with the NYFA in and was featured in a short film entitled 7 minutes.

Matthew attended Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL) and graduated with a BSc and an MSc in Mathematics.

During his time at QMUL Matthew became heavily involved with Queen Mary Theatre Company (QMTC), performing in numerous festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe. He currently plays series regular Felix Baker in the BBC’s Flagship show EastEnders
